About
Suggest a Resource
If you know something Los Angeles actors need and this site does not cover it, tell us. Every suggestion is read by a human and verified from primary sources before it appears anywhere.
What we are looking for
- Resources that save actors money or time: legitimate free or low-cost training, audits, self-tape help, theater companies, community programs.
- Things that are easy to get wrong: rule changes, platform changes, price changes, new requirements.
- Questions we have not answered. If you looked for something here and it was not here, that is useful information.
- Corrections. If something is inaccurate, please use the corrections policy route instead; it moves faster.
What we do with suggestions
We verify them. A suggestion is a lead, not a listing. Before anything gets published we check it against primary sources: the organization's own materials, published pricing, and its actual current operation. If we cannot verify it, we do not publish it, no matter how good it sounds.
Nothing gets published because someone asked nicely, and nothing gets published faster because someone asked twice.
If you are promoting your own business
You are welcome to tell us about it, but read this first so nobody wastes time:
- You cannot buy a mention. We take no advertising, sponsorship, affiliate revenue, or paid placement. See the advertising and sponsorship policy.
- We do not rank schools, coaches, agents, or photographers, so there is no list to get onto. Our methodology explains why.
- Schools belong in the directory. If you run an acting school or class, the LA Acting Schools directory is the right place, and it has its own verification process and claim form.
- We will not link to anyone charging actors to audition, guaranteeing representation or work, or operating outside California's talent scam and talent agency laws.
Submit through the contact form with the resource, its official URL, and why it helps actors. If it checks out, it will show up in the guide where it genuinely belongs.
